Why “Alberon”?
The name “Alberon” is derived from the word Albero, which means tree in Italian.
Tim Ault explains:
Two of my favourite things are languages and music. After finishing university I was lucky enough to spend a couple of years living in Italy. While I was there I sang with an Italian choir called ‘i Polifonici Senesi’ who used to rehearse at a little church on the outskirts of Siena called L’Alberino.
When I was looking for a name for the new business, “Alberino” seemed a good name, and I liked the fact it began with “A”, but “-ino” means small, so that wasn’t quite right. My brother Rob suggested “Alberon”.
