3Form Design asked us to design a desktop application for tracking the design projects that they do through from quotation to completion of work.
The brief
We had to ensure that certain features were only available to certain groups of people, e.g., sales initiated the project, the designer did the work and the project could only be signed off by a manager.
Features
It was an important feature of the project that the financial director and MD were alerted when projects reached or failed to reach particular milestones. They were automatically alerted via email.
