Aim for “A” Revision Courses

Aim for “A” Revision Courses wanted to get their website higher in the search results, to increase signups for their Easter revision courses.

The brief

Nicholas runs Easter revision courses at Tonbridge School in Kent.  His website was already listed on our Easter Revision Courses Finder website, but he wanted to be more easily found in searches for revision courses in Tonbridge, Kent and South East England.

As Easter was rapidly approaching, time was of the essence.

The solution

First we measured how well he was doing in the rankings before we did anything, so we had a baseline for comparison.

We then reviewed each page and made minor but important changes to the text and headings. For example, we introduced more of the key phrases he wanted to be ranked for in a natural way as part of the visible text.

After a month we measured the rankings again and saw considerable improvements in the rankings for the chosen key phrases.  The graph above shows lower (i.e. better) rankings after a month.
