The brief
Lucinda Hawley noticed that there were lots of lovely clothes for baby girls and much less choice for baby boys and toddlers - so she decided to source an exciting range of clothes for boys.
She asked Alberon to build an ecommerce site to sell the clothes online. The site needed to be simple for customers to use, and easy for Lucinda to maintain. Other requirements included the ability to track stock for various sizes of each product.
The solution
Alberon built Lucinda an ecommerce website with a range of useful features.
Visitors can browse the store by age, by type of garment, or by designer. There are also special categories such as organic, unisex, and gift ideas. Visitors can build up a wish list, which they can send to a friend or save for future use. Lucinda is able to maintain the catalogue using the site's administration area, which also has an order management area.
Alberon helped Lucinda to upload product data files which were supplied by her various suppliers. Alberon also advised on search engine optimisation, to help the new site do well in the search engine rankings.
Lucinda was delighted to receive her first order within two hours of the site going live!
