The Concert Diary website and Alberon
This article dated : 22 January 2020
- What’s changed?
On 20 January 2020, Alberon Ltd. took over ownership of the Concert Diary website. - Who are Alberon?
At Alberon we develop and support a range of software systems and websites. We’ve hosted, supported and developed the Concert Diary site for the last 2 years so we know the site really well. Through our sister company Contrada, we also run a number of directory websites such as the Gerontius website for choirs and the UK Summer Schools website, so Concert Diary fits in well with what we do already. Please look around this site to find out more about us.
- Statement from Tim Ault, Alberon’s MD
“Concert Diary has been one of the leading concert listing websites in the UK since it first appeared in 2000. In recent years other sites have come along and so it’s an interesting challenge to take Concert Diary forward into its third decade. Classical music is important to me both as a concertgoer and as an amateur performer. I was genuinely excited when Steve Smith approached me to talk about the possibility of taking on Concert Diary. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to develop and look after the site.”
- Our plans
Concert Diary will remain primarily a classical concert listing website. Over the coming months and years, we plan to make some improvements so we can carry on providing the best possible service to concertgoers, musicians and promoters. We’re open to the possibility of partnerships with organisations who share our values. If you feel your organisation could benefit from a partnership with Concert Diary, please do get in touch.
- How do I get in touch?
